Famed scientist Suzuki on 'Saving Our Planet' at WSU

A 4-column story at the top of the back page notes that environmental activist and broadcaster David Suzuki will speak at Wayne State Thursday on the topic "Saving Our Planet." His appearance, which is part of Earth Week activities on campus, is part of the ongoing Focis on Contemporary Issues in Society series. Irvin D. Reid, who holds the Applebaum Chair in Community Engagement, is quoted. A sidebar notes that a "Sounds of the Earth" concert is slated for 6 p.m. that evening. Details of both events are given.
